About RobotWale
India's humanoid robots library.
Our mission
RobotWale.com exists to separate signal from noise in robotics. We cover humanoid robots, robotic dogs, drones, industrial automation and consumer robotics. We focus especially hard on what actually ships, what it costs in India, and how the machines behave in the real world - not in the promo video.
Editorial policy
Every robot we cover is graded on the same four tiers:
- Tier A - Shipping & deployed. Available to buy, on real production lines or in real customer hands. Specs are from shipping units, not prototypes.
- Tier B - Shipping to early customers. Small-volume production, pilot deployments, engineering samples. Real hardware but limited field data.
- Tier C - Announced & demoed. Working prototype, public demos, but not yet shipping to paying customers.
- Tier D - Concept & render. Clearly labelled so nobody mistakes a concept video for a working machine.
How we source
We cite first-party specs from manufacturers, peer-reviewed papers where relevant, and hands-on experience whenever we can get our hands on the hardware. When we summarise a demo or a spec, we link to the source. We do not run paid placements or affiliate-only reviews without clear labelling.
Who we are
RobotWale is built by a small team of engineers, editors and robotics enthusiasts based in India. We also use AI tools to help us process the huge and growing volume of robotics announcements - always with a human editor reviewing the output before it goes live.
India first, not India only
Our default price column is in rupees. Our default readers are Indian builders, buyers and the robotics-curious. But the machines we cover are global, and so is our coverage - we just think the Indian angle deserves a publication that treats it as first-class.
Corrections
Robotics moves fast. If we get something wrong, tell us and we will fix it and annotate the article. Write to info@robotwale.com.
